Autoroute 610, also known as the Louis Bilodeau Autoroute, is a short spur road located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, connecting Autoroute 55 and Autoroute 10 to Route 112.
It was originally part of Autoroute 10. On September 29, 2006, the Ministère des Transports du Québec announced its decision to assign a new number to this portion of Autoroute 10, claiming that it is more consistent with the Quebec road numbering plan, and that it would benefit motorists by helping them to orient themselves.[3] As a result, Autoroute 10 now ends at the end of its concurrency with Autoroute 55.
The autoroute is listed on the Ministère des Transports du Québec website as having been opened to traffic in 1988. The eastern part (east of Exit 7, formerly Exit 150), opened in 1992, is a two-lane freeway.
In January 2008, A-610 was renamed in honour of Louis Bilodeau, a longtime broadcaster on CHLT-TV.
